Spicy Summer Watermelon Margarita’s


Yaaaahoooo!!! Finally…. Our first taste of summer during May long weekend. I decided that I was in need of something to quench my thirst and conquer my craving for something spicy as well as refreshing. A Spicy Summer Watermelon Margarita was in order! Doesn’t it sound divine? It is!


Here’s my recipe for one of the best culinary cocktails you will ever have:

INGREDIENTS: (Serves 6-8)

8 cups Watermelon
1 Organic red hot chilli pepper / Jalapeño
1/2 cup Fresh lime juice
1/4 Organic agave syrup
1/2 cup Triple Sec
1 1/2 cup Tequila

Himalayan salt
Lime wheel, thinly sliced
Red chili, thinly sliced
Watermelon wedge



Step 1- In a glass bowl or measuring cup pour in tequila. Next, either cut a chili pepper in half or in thinly sliced wheels and put it all into the tequila for at least an hour or two before serving. Keep longer for people who appreciate a more intense heat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

Step 2 – Blend the watermelon. Strain into large glass pitcher to get rid of the pulp.

Step 3 – Add all the other ingredients and fill the remainder of the pitcher with ice. Give it a good stir to ensure everything is properly mixed.

Step 4 – Rim glasses with the pretty Himalayan salt, pour mixture, and garnish with one thinly sliced lime wheel, a couple chili slices and a watermelon wedge. Serve and enjoy!
